I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology, from the University of Windsor, ON. I completed a residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baycrest Health Sciences (Toronto) and a post-doctoral fellowship at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. I have experience working in hospital-based neurology, rehabilitation, and psychiatry departments, as well as in private clinics.
My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and it incorporates a holistic view of wellness and brain health. I am very interested in diversity and working with clients to learn about their unique backgrounds and current needs, while helping them find a new path for the future.
Outside of work, I love hiking, discovering new places, walking with my dog, and reading at night.

Dr. Daniela Gonzalez
Have you been recently diagnosed with ADHD and don’t know what to do next?
I offer brief and targeted intervention to address the most common difficulties arising from ADHD symptoms. My ADHD program includes 6 weekly sessions followed by two additional monthly booster sessions. During the initial session, I will work collaborative with you to identify the main obstacles you are facing due to ADHD symptoms. We will identify specific target problems and goals to accomplish. Then, in our weekly sessions, we will review and practice evidence-based techniques based on cognitive neuroscience and cognitive behavioural theories to get you closer to your goals. All sessions will include homework for you to work on in between sessions.
The treatment plan will be individualized; however, most common concerns that clients identify are related to:
- Poor self-management related to time, planning, and goals (procrastination, poor sense of time, trouble starting, trouble finishing tasks)
- Poor self-organization and working memory (unfocused, cannot remember material heard or read, trouble learning, doing things in the wrong order)
- Poor self-regulation (difficulty waiting patiently, making decisions too quickly, making impulsive comments, quick to anger)
In this program, I also provide education about a holistic view of brain health. As such, we will discuss lifestyle practices that promote brain health and support functioning well with symptoms of ADHD.
ADHD Treatment Program
I offer targeted, solution-focused, and brief interventions, specifically for those with ADHD concerns, performance anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I also offer individualized skill-based intervention for clients with ADHD to support improvements in day-to-day functioning. See more details below:

ASSESSMENT SERVICES
In this clinic, I primarily offer assessment services to adults and older adults.
I specialize in psychodiagnostic assessments. These assessments include evaluation and diagnosis of mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD. I have vast experience conducting psychodiagnostic evaluations for the purposes of disability and motor-vehicle accident cases.
I also conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, which may be warranted for those with concerns about their thinking skills. This type of assessment includes comprehensive testing of cognitive skills, such as attention, memory, and reasoning abilities, and it provides a comprehensive picture of cognitive strengths and weaknesses. These results help diagnose and assess the impact of neurological conditions (i.e., brain injury, stroke, dementia, or ADHD).
Assessment results provide insight into your psychological patterns, areas of difficulty, clarification about possible diagnoses (ADHD, learning disability, brain injury, dementia), and recommendations for your daily life, relationships, work, and educational pursuits. Additionally, assessment results are valuable to help you obtain accommodations for school or work, provide documentation for an official leave or disability process, and obtain specific treatments.
